What tire pressure do you recommend?
We have detailed tire pressure charts on each wheel page. Using your tire size, weight, and road surface conditions we recommend your ideal tire pressure.
Are race wheels just for racing?
Not at all. All FLO Wheels are designed to be used every day. Wether you're training on the road, indoors or racing, we recommend you use your FLO Wheels for every ride.
Do you offer 650c size wheels?
We do not offer 650c wheels.
Do you offer PowerTap builds?
We do not offer wheels with PowerTaps.
Do you sell rims only?
If you would like to get our rims so you can build your own wheels, please contact us for a special order. We can accomodate different spoke dirlling options as well.
What brake pads should I use for your rim brake carbon fiber wheels?
Please use FLO brake pads or SwissStop Black Prince brake pads with all FLO Wheels with carbon brake tracks.
Is the braking performance of your carbon wheels any good?
Yes, we feel it is on par with aluminum rimmed wheels. Our brake pads a specifically formulated to work with the epoxy resin system in our rims.
What type of rims do you use?
All FLO rims are engineered in the USA by FLO. We open our own proprietary molds for production of our rims.
Do you offer aluminum rimmed wheels?
All aluminum rimmed wheels were discontinued in 2022.
What spokes do you use?
We use Sapim CX-Ray spokes in all of our wheels with the acception of the FLO Disc Carbon Clincher. This wheel uses Sapim Laser spokes.
What color are your spokes?
All FLO wheels have black spokes with the acception of the FLO DISC Carbon Clincher.
What hubs do you use?
All FLO Wheels use our FLO Vortex hubs.
Can I get different hubs in your wheels?
We do not have the option to provide other hubs in our wheels. If you would like to use your own hubs we offer special order rims so you can build your own wheels.
What type of bearings do you use?
We use Japanese EZO Steel bearings in all of our wheels.
What freehub options do you have?
We offer Shimano/SRAM HG in 9/10/11/12, XDR, and Campy.
Can I convert my rim brake hubs to disc brake hubs?
You cannot convert your rim brake hubs to disc brake hubs.
