Total Power
Total power is calculated by adding the total watts consumed from aerodynamics and rolling resistance, with the goal to have your total power number as low as possible.
The graphs on the left show how many watts the FLO 30 LIMITED can save you over a standard bike wheel, Mavic Open Pro.
Continental GP 5000 tires in 25mm were used for optimization and testing.

Time Saved On The FLO 30 LIMITED
How much time will riding the FLO 30 LIMITED save you? This table estimates your time savings by comparing a FLO 30 LIMITED and a Mavic Open Pro, and calculating watt savings over specified race distances. Times savings are based on two wheels.
Saving You Watts
Go further, faster with the FLO 30 LIMITED. This wheel was designed to save you watts by taking aerodynamics into consideration. Thanks to a drag-reducing aerodynamic profile, the FLO 30 LIMITED ensures the watts you put into the pedals are not wasted spinning your wheels, but are used to move you forward. Explore the tabs to the right to learn more about how to shave off time and watts by choosing the FLO 30 LIMITED.
Aerodynamically Optimized
The goal of making a cycling wheel aerodynamic is to reduce the drag. Drag on a cycling wheel makes it more difficult to move the bike forward through the air, and consumes the watts you put into the pedals.
The FLO 30 LIMITED was designed to reduce the watts consumed by drag so the watts you put into the pedals move you forward. Be aero and be faster.
Learn more about Aerodynamics & Watts and our Wind Tunnel Testing.
Rolling Resistance Optimized
The goal of lowering the rolling resistance for a cycling wheel is to make the wheel easier to roll. Rolling resistance occurs at the contact patch where your tire makes contact with the road surface. The higher the rolling resistance, the harder to move the bike forward, and the more watts wasted.
While this line was not specifically designed with a wide internal rim shape for rolling resistance, you can still benefit by changing your tires to create a smaller contact patch. We suggest using 25mm-28mm tires.

WHEELS WITH A CAUSE
Bike For A Kid
The joy of riding a bike is universal. That’s why we donate 1% of all sales to our Bike For A Kid program in partnership with the Ironman Foundation.
Your purchase from FLO helps purchase a bike and a helmet for a child in need. Learn more about Bike For A Kid. To date, Flo has donated over 3,000 bikes!
One Wheel One Tree
To help offset the carbon footprint of producing a cycling wheel, we plant one tree for each wheel you buy. Additionally, your wheels will arrive in plastic free boxes made from 100% recycled cardboard.
